I’ve got a new job. As of March 16th, I will be joining LifeWay as their Student and Young Adult “Specialist” in the Marketing, Communications, and Promotions division. Basically, I’ll be a copywriter, producer, and project manager for creative projects. I’ve long wanted to pursue more creativity and writing in my daily life and this is a very exciting step forward. I’m stepping into a team of very talented people with a tremendous vision in ministry, and I’m grateful to join them.
My move is bittersweet, however. I’ve been working with the great people of Griffin Technology in some capacity since the fall of 2006, starting in the warehouse and moving into Tech Support in 2007. For the last two years, I have served as Public Relations assistant, a mix of PR-related copywriting, communication, and the such. It’s been a great experience for me and I’ve learned a lot. I love Griffin and its people, and I’m grateful for my time there.
I’m humbled by the road thus far, and confident for the road ahead. I can’t wait to see what happens. Cheers!
You can’t get here soon enough, Whit! So glad to get the chance to work with you!
Thanks Amy! I can’t wait!
Congrats brother.
Thanks Chaz.
So proud of you Whit – LifeWay is very lucky to get you – you will do a wonderful job. Maybe soon we can celebrate the new job.
Perhaps we can gather at The Landings and celebrate over the buffet.
Griffin’s loss is Lifeway’s gain. We’ll miss you.
Thanks Web. I’m going to miss you guys.
